Southwest District Mission Program, Inc.

Because of the present happenings and disaffiliation process going on in the Methodist Church I have been asked about our status during these changing times.

We have been a 501 (c) (3) since 2016 and separated from the Methodist church since that time. The name of the 501 (c) (3) is Southwest District Mission Program, Inc. has nothing to do with the Southwest District of the Methodist Church or the Methodist conference in Lakeland, Florida. We are a non-denominational entity here to serve all the people in Cuba.

Because the United States government has an embargo on Cuba and have designated Cuba as a terrorist country there “cannot” be any reference to Cuba on bank checks. This is the reason for the 501 (c) (3) EIN: 38 3924442 formed January 6, 2016 under the name of: Southwest District Mission Program, Inc.

Christ for Cuba is the name of the website only.
